Notes of Steel Structure Construction in The Rain Season

In the special  rain season a variety of unknown factors should be taken into account during steel structure construction, different from normal circumstance factors. When you construct steel structure project, all kinds of factors need to be aware of, and connecting with the reality, to make the correct approach.

1. Place stone in the surrounding of excavated foundation slot or pipe ditch to prevent earthwork being washed  by rain. Or bury some completion of basic building. The basic construction is completed, you should pay close attention to the backfill work around foundation pit. Measures should be taken to prevent flood water erosion of earth piled up on the construction site. Anti-uplift stability factor should be not less than 1.2. Stop the construction when the rain is very heavy.

2. Construction of steel structure should be finished stage by stage;  After digging to the elevation of the foundation, working area should not be too large during construction of steel structure workshop in rain days. Timely acceptance and pouring the mixed layer.

3. Prevent slope being collapsed by rain, you can nail steel wire mesh on the slope and plastered with 50cm thick fine aggregate concrete; also you can use plastic cover slope.

4. In order to prevent the foundation slot  from being soaked, while excavating in the pit to make drains, collection wells and organization necessary drainage force; located in the bottom of the pool and basement should be considered during construction of steel structure.

5. May be appropriate to slow down the slope or set of support when necessary. You should strengthen the slop and supporting Inspection and control when the construction of  steel structure project. Excavation of the foundation trench (pit) or trench should be noted that the slope stability during the rain period. Set supporting  For excavated foundation slot or pipe ditch set supporting for advance, if  pre-ill-considered, pouring in case of heavy rain, often cause the accident of the basement and pool floating.

6. For soaked foundation by rain, you should do the necessary excavation and backfilling to restore the basis of carrying capacity; important or special steel structure projects should be completed before the rain season. Backfilled earthwork before rain should be rolled and make its surface formed  certain slope so that rainwater can be discharged automatically.

In summary, all  the influence factors of rain season should be noted during construction of steel structure, so as to solve all kinds of problems  in rain season, which produce realistic steel structure project, and to strengthen the security and stability of the steel structural project.
